אז כמו שהבטחתי, אני ויעלי יצאנו לטיול עם הבגדים המקסימים מאובססיה באוירת שלהי קיץ, קצת חום, הרבה לחות, אבל היה  לנו כיף!

ANOTHER OBSESSION

So….as promised Yael & I went for a walk. We took with us amazing clothes from OBSESSION with the concept of the late summer air. It was very warm & very humid but we had great fun !

The store OBSESSION is situated on a charming street called Gaulah which joins Allenby towards the direction of the sea. When I entered I felt like Alice in Wonderland. The shop full of surprises & bargains, together with vintage, second hand & new items. A dress collection from Japan, evening dresses of Audrey Hepburn style & a variety oif many wonderful pieces. It’s a place to take your time & savour everything. I was there for an hour & half & hadn’t even reached the skirts & blouses. I will certainly be going back !!

החנות אובססיה ממוקמת ברחוב המקסים גאולה שיוצא מאלנבי לכיוון הים. כשנכנסתי פנימה הרגשתי מעין אליס אין וונדרלנד, החנות מלאה בכל טוב, הפתעות ומציאות. משולבים בה פריטי יד שניה לצד פריטים חדשים. קולקציית שמלות מיפן, שמלות ערב נוסח אודרי הפבורן ועוד שלל פריטים נפלאים. צריך לקחת את הזמן, שהיתי שם כשעה וחצי ואפילו לא הגעתי למדור החולצות והחצאיות, עוד יש לאן לחזור...הנה כמה פריטים מהחנות והפוסט הבא יוקדש להפקונת אופנה של כמה שמלות שאהבתי במיוחד:

במסגרת פינת העיצוב, שזה הפוסט הראשון שלה אני אתחיל בביתי הקט. הזמנתי את מאיה, חברתו של אחי שהיא במקרה מעצבת פנים מעולה והיא עשתה לי סדר בארון, היא סידרה גם פינת מיחזור קטנה לכל הבקבוקים כולל סל לנייר ופלסטיק, מאז הכל הרבה יותר נוח ומסודר! אז תודה למאיה קידר המעצבת. maya.co.il@gmail.com

אז הגיע הזמן להסביר את פירוש השם "נאוסה". הכל התחיל בארץ רחוקה ושמה ברזיל...

בטיול המפורסם אחרי הצבא טיילתי כארבעה חודשים בארץ המופלאה והאקזוטית ברזיל. בעודי מסתובבת לי לתומי בעיקר בקרבת החוף נתקלתי לעיתים קרובות באנשים שקוראים בשמי-נועה סלע, בהתחלה חשבתי שאני מדמיינת, לא הבנתי איך הברזילאים יודעים מי אני בלי שטרחתי להציג את עצמי, לקח לי זמן להבין שהם אומרים  Nau sei פירוש המילה בפורטוגזית הוא "לא יודע". הברזילאים מדברים את השפה כאילו הם שרים שיר, כך שהם היו מושכים את צמד המילים האלה והן נשמעו כמו השם שלי.  כשחזרתי לארץ סיפרתי את הסיפור ומאז מספר אנשים לא מבוטל קורא לי נאוסה.  לכבוד הבלוג שיניתי את האיות המקורי, ל "עכשיו סה"!

רציתי לשלב תמונות מהטיול לברזיל, אך הן לא נמצאו זמינות או אטרקטיביות במיוחד, במקום זה הצלחתי לשלוף מהארכיון כמה תמונות שלי מצלמת את עצמי שזה מין תחביב שאני לא מצליחה או רוצה להיגמל ממנו, אני מניחה שזה קטע של צלמים...

So….now its time to explain the meaning of NOWSE. It all started in a country far away called Brazil.

As most Israelis I did the famous 4 month trip after my army service. My trip was in beautiful, exotic Brazil. While I was travelling, usually by the coast, I would hear people call my name Noa Sela. At first I thought I was imaging things , but still I could hear them calling my name & I hadn’t introduced myself !! I couldn’t understand how Brazilians would know my name. It took some time but eventually I realized they were saying NOWSE which in Portugeuse means “DON’T KNOW”. The Brazilians speak their language in a sing song manner causing the word IWSE to sound like Noa Sela. When I returned home & recounted the story a good number of people started to call me NOWSE. I wanted to combine pictures from the trip but they were not available & not particularly interesting so instead I managed to get pictures out of my archives of me taking pictures of me !!!! I guess it’s a hobby that I cant get rid of or even want to…… a photographers quirk I guess.

הצילומים שאני אוהבת הם בדרך כלל אלה שמגרים את העין וגורמים לה לרצות לטרוף את הצילום. מעין פתיינות, חייבים להסתכל. יש מספר צלמי אופנה שגורמים לי להתאהב בצילומים שלהם ואני עוד אקדיש להם פוסט שלם, בינתיים תהנו משיער וסוכריות. הדוגמנית המדהימה היא בת דודתי מרב, שהיא אמנית בפני עצמה וגם היא ראויה לפוסט שלם. אז סיימתי את הפוסט הזה עם הבטחות, אקיים במהרה!

The photos I love are those that make you want to devour them with your eyes, photos that you cant drag your eyes away from. There are a number of fashion photographers that I love & will devote posts to them. In the meantime enjoy CANDY & HAIR. The stunning model is my cousin Marav. She is an artist & deserves an entire post. So Im finishing this post with promises……. Back soon.

החום הכבד מאלץ אותי להישאר בבית, לא שזאת בעיה גדולה, אני אוהבת להיות בבית אבל אחרי שאני מסיימת את כל העיתונים, הספרים, והגלישה האינסופית באינטרנט (שגורמת לעיניים לצאת מחוריהן עד שהן מודיעות לי בחגיגיות שהן לא יכולות יותר להתרכז במסך דו מימדי וזועקות לתלת מימד מהעולם האמיתי), אני "זורקת" על עצמי בנונשלט כמה פריטים מנצחים ויוצאת החוצה למזגן הקרוב... :)

 Weekend

The heavy summer heat keeps me indoors, not that it’s a problem….I love being at home. However after I finish all the newspapers, books & surfing the net (too much of which makes my eyes feel like they are popping out & remind me that its time to re – join the “real world” ) I nonchalantly throw on a few winning pieces & go out…… to the nearest air conditioner !!
