here it comes! dina's glass winter colection!

Beautiful & amazing model Liraz Dror freed up some time for me between jobs abroad. It was a fun & special Saturday. We had great fun playing around with each step, the makeup, hairstyles & dressing up in the best of designs from Dina Glass, through to the shoot & finally photoshop…….without retouching , just editing :) 

I found out that to do a whole collection you need 2 or 3 days….we spread out the day without paying attention to the fact that time was ticking by & the sun was setting….so this is what we managed to do. Hope you like the pictures. Have a great week & lots of thanks to Liraz & Dina.

לירז דרור הדוגמנית המדהימה פינתה עבורי זמן צילום בין גיחותיה לחו"ל...היה יום שבת כייפי במיוחד, השתעשענו משלב האיפור, לשלב התסרוקות, ההלבשה- עם מיטב הבגדים של דינה גלס ועד לשלב הצילומים ולבסוף...הפוטושופ- בלי ריטושים!!! רק עריכה :) גיליתי שבשביל לצלם קולקציה שלמה צריך יומיים שלושה, אנחנו נמרחנו בכיף על יום אחד בלי לשים לב שהשעון מתקתק והשמש שוקעת, אז זה מה שהספקנו,

מקווה שתהנו מהצילומים, שיהיה המשך שבוע מקסים והמון תודה ללירז, לדינה ולכל בית ישראל!

                      MY FIRST GROUP EXHIBITION

It was fun & even exciting to exhibit “APART ART”. Yesterday I arrived at the opening of the exhibition “LIVING ROOM”. Also showing in the exhibition were works of my teachers who taught me not so long ago……

I love the concept, the main idea of a living room in a home. All the pieces closely side by side that was right for the space & the pieces. There was a feeling of informality that was different from the exhibitions I usually see. It was interesting, beautiful & relaxing.

In this picture I covered my living room with paper, dressed my model (Liraz Dror) in a paper dress. Liraz had just returned exhausted from boot camp & fell asleep on the sofa ! ( Yes models can & do enlist to the army ). That’s ho w this photo came to bein the group exhibition. If you are in Tel Aviv pop into the gallery at 42 THE SCHOOK.

There was another exhibition by the artist ANYA POLONSKI. Its been a while since I saw such interesting work, the Porcelin, the joins , the colours with just a little feminine feel. LOVED IT.

התערוכה הקבוצתית הראשונה שלי!

אתמול הגעתי לפתיחה של התערוכה "סלון" של קבוצת "apart art" אותה אוצרת האמנית והאוצרת רותם ריטוב. היה כיף ואפילו קצת מרגש. היה נחמד להציג בתערוכה בה הציגו לצידי גם מורות שלימדו אותי בעבר הלא רחוק... אהבתי את הקונספט של התערוכה, בה הרעיון המוביל הוא סלון, מרחב ביתי. כל העבודות מוצגות זו לצד זו במין צפיפות שהולמת את החלל ואת העבודות. היתה תחושה פחות רשמית מתערוכות שאני רואה בדרך כלל, וזה היה משחרר, נעים, מעניין ויפה. הצילום הזה הוא צילום בו עטפתי את סלון ביתי בנייר, הלבשתי את הדוגמנית שלי-לירז דרור בשמלה מנייר. לירז בדיוק חזרה מטירונות-(גם דוגמניות מצליחות עושות צבא) ופשוט נרדמה לי על הסט, כך נוצר הצילום הזה שמצא את דרכו לתערוכה קבוצתית.

במורד הרחוב היתה פתיחה לתערוכה נוספת בה נחשפתי לקיומה של האמנית אינה פולונסקי. מזמן .לא ראיתי עבודות פיסול מעניינות! הפורצלן, החיבורים, הצבעים, העדינות, העבודה המעט נשית, אהבתי מאוד!

דינה גלס

השבוע ביקרתי בחנות של דינה גלס ברחוב נחמני 35 בת"א. גלס היא אחת המעצבות האהובות עליי בסצנת האופנה הישראלית. אם הייתי מעצבת אופנה הייתי רוצה שזה יראה ככה...הבגדים שהיא מעצבת הם חד פעמיים, מלאי תעוזה, דמיון ואומץ. הצבעים נעים על סקאלה רחבה ושילובי הבדים מקוריים, מפתיעים ומאירים את העיניים. המיקום של החנות שלה הוא יוצא דופן, הרחק מאיזורי האופנה הצפופים, החנות מהווה מעין פנינה ברחוב המקסים נחמני. בתוך החנות (שניתן למצוא בה שלל פריטים החל מספרי אופנה וכלה בכוסות קרמיקה), נמצא גם הסטודיו בו נתפרים כל הבגדים, מה שמאפשר נוחות ויעילות.

Dina Glass

This week I visited the shop of Dina Glass, on "Nahmani" Street 35 in Tel Aviv,. Glass is one of my favorite designers in the Israeli fashion scene. the shop's atmosphere & the cloths she designs inspire me to be a fashion designer... the clothes she designs are unique , full of courage, imagination and sass . the colors travel along a broad scale, the fabric combinations are original, surprising and eye illuminating. her store's location is exceptional, far from areas of normal fashion density, the store is a charming gem on "Nahmani" Street. inside the store (where you can find a variety of items from a fashion library all the way to ceramic cups) resides the studio where all the clothes are made, which allows convenience and efficiency.
